Hey Jenny -

If you get a chance read some of William Staffords poetry. He was an american poet who I think died in the early 90's. Some of his work is pretty profound.

Read - "Traveling in the Dark" and "When I Found My Muse", and quite a few others. I think you will enjoy!

Weaver, thanks for that. I AM a poetry buff and have read a lot of it, American and English.

Do you remember the 70s and Leonard Cohen. All us young student types used to drift around reading his stuff and listening to the music as well. My mother just couldn't get it LOL

You know Jenny, - I'm not a poet buff really, but every once in awhile my brother (who is a scientist at the naval research center in d.c.) will give me books of poems. He is about the stuffiest, hard to comprehend person on the planet but every once in while he gives me these books.

Anyway Leonord Cohen - no I don't know his work but recently I have seen people allude to him (maybe 2long in his sig line?).

I'll check him out.

BTW it's good to talk to you!

Weaver
