I am currently getting my license and preparing to sell real estate. Today we had the first day of a two day class. The instructor was talking about law suits. He made the comment that some lawsuits were often buyer's wives suing real estate agents because when their husbands came to town looking for a home when they were transferred, the wives were suing the agents for stealing their husbands. The crowd of about 100 people laughed and laughed. It was not one bit funny to me, of course.

On another note, he also told us the web-site to find out if there were people with criminal sexual behavior in our neighborhoods. I went to the site and discovered that someone charged with aggravated sexual battery lives the next street over from me. A good idea for everyone to check out.

Also, I would appreciate your prayers. I asked my husband to leave yesterday and he did. His drinking is way out of control and I was just holding on to get my real estate career started. He left yesterday and my daughter leaves for school (freshman in college) next Tuesday. I'll be living in this big house with no income and all alone. I've cried since then for both my losses-yes even for him-it's always sad when a marriage ends no matter how bad it was.
