Oh please let it be hormones!

I think..no..I am positive..that I actually mentally extended OW a moment of grace..or rather a few. It's difficult to explain, but aside from being The OW[tm] I wonder what she is to herself? I know that this behavior is common to her..that it doesn't bother her to seek out married men for SF..but is there any possibility that she has even the most fog brained clue of what real responsibility she bears for the excrutiating pain of other people? I saw myself in as close to her shoes as I could get for just a moment and tried to imagine suddenly or even slowly realizing what I had done. I couldn't. Couldn't do it. If I had the ability to transfer the agony of the last year or so from my perspective to hers I would ...but suddenly it wasn't for revenge...it was for enlightenment.

People talk a lot about forgiveness. I am of the belief that it is not only impossible but also inadvisable to forgive the unrepentant. She is of course unrepentant, but how can she be if she does not have a grasp of what she has done/is doing. What if she were...would I be able? You know..I am rather afraid that I really might. Yuck. It's gotta be the hormones. I'm all maternal and squishy. I just need to have this baby already and go back to the nails and hammers and other things that are hard and sharp..quick before anyone figures out I'm not completely immovable.

1. THANK GOD I am not pregnant!

2. I hope you have someone to rub your tired swollen feet and shave your legs for you!

I can still manage the shaving..but the toes are a whole other situation. I can't reach them. I tried. It was funny. So the task falls to H. I was all panicky. I'm gonna go into labor..and the nasty hospital folk will make me naked. They will push me around and be bossy and terse and overly cheerfull. It is a teaching hospital and there will be a lot of them..all with the gloves on. I need my toes dressed even if the rest of me isn't. Funny how that makes it better somehow. Gives me a teeny bit of dignity even in the face of having several med students standing around discussing the qualities of my cervix and having nurses on the 11th hour of their 12 hour shift yelling PUSH right into my face with their coffee breath. Well..I'd take one push over the continuous chant "pushpushpushpush". Makes me want to say "Oh push!..I've been pulling ..silly me ...that will work better won't it?" Of course all I'll be able to do by then is grunt and pelt them with ice chips.

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who had an issue with the toe nail thing. All my friends thought I was crazy to care about that!

I had to get my toes done, my nails done and give myself a complete facial before I went into the hospital.

Hormones?

No.

All rumors accusing the Aliens of introducing hormones on the Mothership are just that - nasty rumors. Quite a few WSs have denied EVER getting injections or other additives in orbit while their brains are being experimented on. All research has been confirmed by many (other) WSs to be solely "mechanical" - brain stirring only. So we here should NOT jump to weird conclusions like "doping" and blame unsubstantiated causes as bizarre as "hormone injections" as explanations for WSs behaviors. Jeeze!

We should stick strictly to the facts. Period. The Mothership alone is bad enough. No need to heighten emotions by exaggeration! Get real!!!

Heh..WAT

I meant ME!

It must be my hormones..'cause this isn't normal. My thoughts of OW tend to include fire and public caning..not introspective perspective reversal [say that 3 times fast ]. I admit this only to this board and no one else. I'm waiting to see if things change post partum. If not I might be accused of depth or something.
