Well, things have been pretty busy for me lately. I think I've been able to handle things pretty well for the most part.

A funny thing happened on Friday though. I stopped by the house to pick up a few things and I was going to take my photo albulms when H asks if I can leave them there a few more days because he wants to scan some pictures from there. I asked him which photos he wanted but he just told me that there were quite a few. I don't know. I just thought it was strange for him to want that because he's not a sentimental person. I don't think he's ever kept a photo of anything. Here I am finally getting on my feet and enjoying life a little and now I'm wondering why he would want to scan some of our photos when he makes it seem like he wants to forget we ever existed as a couple. Then again he might just want to scan pictures of himself. I don't know.

Hey Ivory! What he has been telling you and what he really feels may be two different things. It's good for him to have some pictures as a reminder of what he is losing IMO. If he is a narcissist, he may just want to look at himself, u never know.

When my wife left I gave her all pictures accept the digital pics on disk. I honestly don't think I want our photo albums at all. The memories are stained now because she isn't who she used to be.

Are u doing well otherwise? How is your roommate situation going?

Thos- I did recieve your e-mail but I haven't gotten a chance to follow up on it yet. With everything going on my time has been rather limited.

Juke- Things are going alright. My roommate seems nice. Things seem to be falling into place now. By next week I will be almost fully moved, working, and in school. That will leave me with little time to do much else.

Other than that, I had to buy a new computer yesterday because my old one died on me. Suprisingly, I'm not too worried about the debt I'm in now. I think I'm too tired to think about it. I haven't spoken to my H since Friday and I haven't had the constant urges to reach him either. I don't know if I mentioned but I found out that my roommates friend's bf is one of my H's students so I'm sure things that are going on in my life will find a way to get back to him. He hasn't tried to contact me. I'm finally starting to think I really am better off now. I took my wedding photos into work today to show them off. Everyone there knows what happened and thought it was a little odd that I still wanted my wedding photos around. Anyway, unless something happens I probably won't be back here for a few days until I get my phone connected at the apt.

Ivy,

I haven't read your posts in quite awhile, and am so happy to see you have a job, and an apartment.

YES, you are better off without him. This is one marriage that everyone on this board seems to think should end, and that should tell you quite a bit, considering how pro marriage the board is.

Hang in there, girl - you sound great!
