My family will not stop talking negatively about my husband to me after telling them that I do not want them to. They are not Christians and do not respect our marriage like they should. they think that what we do is their business and constantly gossip about us. what should we do, not talk to them? if so then how do we witness to them, they call us self righteous when we mention God and His word and say that we think we are better than they are, which is not true. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

sacha, not knowing all the facts I would only remind you that you need to put H first and he needs to put your first. I would suggest that you talk to your/his family but I'm sure you have already tried in vain. My next suggestion would be to distance yourself from these people. Attend as few functions as you need to. Get in and get out etc. After a while you will get tired of getting kicked and it becomes a lot easier to distance yourself even from family.
