I know everyone brings different wounds into their marriage, especially after an A. Different mixes of fear, sorrow, shame, guilt, righteousness, indifference, and pride work to enflame each of our injuries.
Where does the courage for a WS or BS to continue in marriage come from?
What is the promise of marriage that keeps a BS and WS together?

Marriage is investment..and this is where my willingness to attempt to continue came from.

Loy,
Here are some of the things I appreciate and value about my marriage:
I love waking up to a man who knows my life, my family, my history and who has joined his life to parallel my journey so that we keep each other good company.
I love that I can see his eyebrows in the brows of my children.
I love that he can anticipate what I need because he's watched me and lived with me longer than any other person in my life...including my parents.
I love (and this is silly) that he would notice if I just "didn't come home" and would send out the calvary because he knows I always come home.
I'll let others add more...because this is just a tiny fraction of why I love my marriage.
