Well, over the past few weeks my idiot STBX has sent me a couple of certified letters and even put one or two in my car. He just can't stand it that I am not responding to his crap.
I have gotten to the point where I am so OVER him! I want out of this horrible thing called marriage. He is still with OW and only see's our son when it's convenient for him.
I have my apt to file on Dec. 7th with a new attorney. I'm really looking forward to it.
Ya know, it seems so strange that a few months ago I was wanting to save my marriage so badly. Here I am now wanting out so badly. I could never trust that man again. As soon as I get back from Christmas visiting my family I am putting my house up for sale. I am in the process now of looking for a place to rent. I have to also find a job and decide where my son will go to school. Lots to do but I CAN do it!!!!!!!!!

Hi TR,

Don't know what NM means (except New Mexico) - LOL!!! But it is good to see you in more control. I see a crack in the A. Of course a statement like 'a crack in the A' c/b a good thing..... like: ..... so now the poop can come out!

Keep up the good momentum TR and I hope we all find out what NM means.

take care,
L.

Thanks Orchid! I am doing much better these days. I actually laugh and smile a heck of a lot more than I cry. I have found some peace in being alone. I kinda like i! I am really looking forward to dating one day soon. I have a lot to offer and want to share that with someone who will appreciate it!

I hope we find out what NM means too!

I think it means "never mind" .... like the original thought was lost, or something else where the post was removed for unknown reasons.

TR,

From what I can see, U R at a good point now with yourself and also in a good position to help others. It also w/b therapeutic for your recovery. If you could lend a hand posting here, it may be a win-win situation. I know that is how MB has helped me.

Rough roads with the roller coaster periodically jerking off on a wild ride but this time around you are better grounded and won't let it whiplash you around so violently. Even if the A antics get worse, you w/b better.

take care,
L.

Tree, you seem to be letting go much faster than I can. Every time I look back on the past with my W, I grieve to know it was all heading for a D. Sounds like you're doing very well.

No advice - just a hello and "chin up" msg!

Thanks Orchid and Graycloud.
I am doing much better. I guess the last day I talked to my STBX and OW drew the line for me. It just finalized it all for me. I realized that I would rather be alone than with a man that would treat me that way. They can have each other. Don't get me wrong.....I wish them much misery.
I deserve so much better than what I've had. My son deserves better also. We will be fine. I do get sad from time to time thinking of everything but I think that's just normal after being married for so long. I can't wait to meet someone new and fall in love all over again.

At least 2 years.

Grieving this loss should not be mixed with the emotional high of a new love... People choose their next partner badly if they are not completely healed. Go into your next relationship strong, not bloodied, weakened, and wounded.

The hardest part for me is the continous lies, the repainting of what's happened and my W's uncanny ability to not be responsible for ANYTHING. I also marvel at her very convenient depression which only seems to ensue when she's caught in a lie. At any rate, I wish you the best TR. I am looking forward to dating too! I also like not dealing with the drama any longer, getting a divorce isn't so negative when you've put up with 2+ years of lies and deceit.

Keep Smiling,

I agree FM! I'm just tired of all of it. I want to get my life in order and make a new life for me and my son. I know this has made me stronger! We will both be ok!

I don't get it!

I look in the photo site, see photos of beautiful women like Tree Reich, and wonder why any man would run around on them, or leave them. Leave his son also.

TR, I hope you and your son find all the happiness you ever wanted, and more.

RAG...thank you! I don't know why people do the awful things they do. I'm just glad that now I can find someone worth my time and love!
