Got a hold of me via one of her G-friends...would like it tommorrow morning if possible, says it's for tax purposes.
I don't know of any "tax purposes" that require this and furthermore I believe the documents may be in my safety deposit box. What is she up to? My first instinct says its for passport purposes so she and OM and his children can take a winter vacation south...maybe mexico.
So what's my plan B response. Tell her to go to vital statistics to get a copy, ask specifically what it's for, just give it to her, or not respond at all??
Suggestions appreciated.

What Plan are you in, Binder?
If in Plan A, give her copy.
If in Plan B, tell her friend she can aquire a copy from the court house or on-line. duh ...

When in Plan B you do not meet any needs of hers.
Giving her copy is meeting a need. She's a big girl, she can drive down to the court house and buy a copy. Or she can order one on-line and wait for it to arrive.
This urgently needing it tomorrow for tax purposes is her deal. She did not plan well, guess she was so use to you meeting some of those urgent badly planned needs.

If you have the children, wouldn't you be claiming them?

SHe is with other man, screw her. It brings no harm to the kids. YOu are in plan b- you meet -ZERO of her needs- that is none. THis is meeting a need. She can get it herself, let her!

Binder,
She can not take your children out of the country without you permission. Their are ways to stop it. If you can guess which border or which country, call INS at that border or at the airport if flying and let them know it is against your wishes.
For tax purposes, all you need is a SS#. I know, my dd"s dad & I switch every other year in claiming her as a dependent.
The only thing I can think of would be for a passport.

Binder,
Just a little FYI here for you. If you think it is for vacation reasons and if that means removing the children from the country, in the United States if one parent only is taking the children the airlines and customs require written permission from the other parent.
And to answer your question...wouldnt do a darn thing for her.

Binder:
I dunno, maybe she thinks she can clone the kids if she has their birth cirtificates?
Agree with the plan B advisers.

Hey, Binder. Fellow Canuck here. Just checked on the Income Tax site. Try this http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/benefits/iis/topic-index/ac/in-e.htmlIf she is claiming them on her income tax for the first time and you never have, she would need it for that. But that is after the end of the year. If she is applying for the monthly family allowance, she might need it. But, if she needs if for that, tell her you can fax it to Revenue Canada for her. That way you can keep the Birth Certificates with you. So, my suspicious mind would say forget it! She's up to somthing!

Fightingaloneagain....good name...I should change my name to Havingsexwithmyselfagain. Thanks for all the research!! I will be educating myself further on that. Something definately smells here. The fax suggestion is a good one.

I'm thinking maybe they will just jump across the US border. Dr. wonderful has his own plane and he can circumvent a lot of the usual checks required for cross border movement. They may simply require proof of citizenship for that.

Binder, I know when we cross from Michigan into Canada, you had best have your kids' birth certificates with you or you might not be let into Canada or back into the States.
They are that picky, at least in the Detroit/Windsor check points.

Yes...she's scheming to be sure.
Snowbelle...that is where my money lays...a little cross border trip in the plane...what better way prostitute OM and attempt to gain my son's respect via the spectacle.

It's all making more sense and is suspiciosly close to the kids Christmas break from school. As I get them EVERY weekend it would be the only time she can get away with them.
I already sent her a message suggesting I fax the copies...thanks Fightingalone-again.
