Okay, tomorrow I mail off my Plan B letter.
Think I'd like a name change to go along with it. I don't really think my husband cares enough to come in here looking for me, but he knows I come here and I'd just as soon he not be able to easily find my posts (I use this name all the time for gaming, other sites, etc).
and Tom Joad, no...I can't use "Purple Vinyl Pants Gurrrl" because he'll know that's me..lol.

What are your hobbies/interests? Maybe you can change your name to reflect them.

I think I'd like a name that speaks of optimism and strength, though...

Hey MaddyK! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
Dang! You know when I saw the title of your thread this morning I thought I know just the right handle for little MaddyK. But then I read your post and you flat shut me down. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <wink>
Seriously I've given it some thought. I like Pep's suggestion. It even sounds feminine too.
I was going to suggest that you do as I did. Take your favorite character, or maybe real life person, and use that one. You know, a person whose quality you admire or perhaps a fictional character who traveled a certain road with dignity and discovery.
Whatever your new name ... you'll still be the same girl. Thank goodness.

Maddyk...the perfect name....
Nike...the Greek goddess who was the personification of victory in mythology. What better way to describe any BS's situation when they move forward....a victory...for themselves and their new life ahead...what do you think? I love it....
If you don't....let me know, 'cause I'm going to adopt it...heheheheh.

Hmm...I dunno....
Maybe "Squishy"? guess that's not very stong and optomistic, though...especially a bad Squishy...
karena..hmmm...I'll think on that overnight and letcha know.
Hmmm..Matilda of Saxony? I would have to look that one up unless you care to enlighten me?
giggle..or I could go in the other direction and be St. Jude's pet project?

Its's positive and heroic! I believe everyone needs to 'keep their world save' before bedtime. ie, never go to bed miserable.

Ruffled, I have a Power Puff Girl doll on my computer as we speak. Buttercup...there are two buttercups here already <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> and if I used Power Puff Girl, he might guess that's me.
I'm thinking of Pep's suggestion.
Gonna wait until tomorrow to send my letter. I want to get a tracking number on it so I know it arrived and can't do that on Sundays.

So is this a competition. Any prizes for the winner cos if there are I'll keep trying! OK one last try. I like the native american thing so you could be "Pocahontas". (Haven't got a clue if I spelt that right). I love that song from the film - "Colours of the Wind". I digress. TT

grin, no...not a competetion. The name I've been focusing on the most is Pep's first suggestion..it's has a very pretty sound to it so I think that's what I'll end up taking.
