Yes, I did get an email today. He's trying to talk me out of using my lawyer....he wants to work out all the details of the divorce without lawyers....NOT!!!!! He sent an email basically telling me that if I choose to use a lawyer then I will be very disappointed in the outcome and I will get less money from him. He's trying to scare me. Not working!!! I called my lawyer to discuss what to do. I may be having an emergency hearing for temporary child support.

My FWH said the same thing, and that he knew I was "that kind of a person- just like my mother".
They are just scared because they will not be able to minipulate the whole situation with a Lawyer. Good for you for staying strong.
Also I saw your picture on Faith's thread, you are a very beautiful woman, and he is the fool. You seem wonderful from the inside too, you will find the one who will treat you as you deserve!!!

Fishracer, I'm going okay--good days and bad, like most of us here!
I'm preparing to go into Plan B. My husband knows I post here. While I don't think that Plan B would make him come here to find my posts, it *may*. I don't care if he knows who I am, but I just as soon it not be easy to find my posts, KWIM? I use maddyk in a lot of places online so that would be just a little too easy.
Was gonna send out my letter last Sunday or MOnday, but after talking to him this weekend realized I need to Plan A just a little bit more...I had been backsliding and did not realize it. I want to get back to at least where I was before, before I Plan B. Smile...but..that's enough threadjack!

My WH just sent me another email telling me that it's a shame I chose to go with a lawyer..it will cost me more in the end???? HELLO???? Why is it going to cost me more for him to hire a lawyer??? He's sooooo out there!!!

Yea...I'm sure he will get a wake up call soon. He's trying to say that If I ever get remarried that he will cut my child support in half since the new husband would make enough to help. WHATEVER!!!!! My lawyer just laughed when I told her that. He has no clue!!!

But I wonder what your son would say ten years down the road if he heard his father talking about cutting his child support for whatever reason.
I will never understand the child support issue. I've never gotten CS from my first husband for my son.

Well, speaking of telling my son that.....I keep a copy of EVERYTHING so one day when he is old enough and starts wanting to know all about the divorce...I'll just hand over the file. My STBX thinks he is going to be the winner in all of this. Yeah right!!! He says I have so much anger and should let it go. It's only been 6 months and he thinks I should be happy, happy! Uggghhhhh! He lives in fantasy land.
