MB Friends:

You guys have all helped me so much. I know that my emotions/posts have been all over the board. I don't know what I'm doing. I can't seem to get a grip and to just be normal.....maybe I've never been normal.

I've been a complete basket case, as my posts have clearly shown. I have read and re-read the marriage builders books (along with many others) and on an intellectual level I understand, but my emotions are another subject entirely.

I can't seem to get off this roller coaster, I'm up one minute, down the next. I feel I've offended people here, and that was never my intention.

I'm very sorry, and hope that I haven't damaged yet another relationship (with the people here) beyond repair.

Caren, I don't think you need to apologize. Everyone goes through times that their emotions are out of control. What people are trying to help you with is to rein those out of control feelings in. Hang in there and listen to these wise people.

Car,

You asked me where you can get yourself a"level head" like mine.... (??are you saying my hair is flat??? (J/K)

If I were to draw a picture of you as I visualize your struggle today, I'd draw you as a "push-me pull-you" ... the 2-headed llama from the original 1967 Dr. Dolittle. Directionless.

Two head are better than one, yes, but only when the two heads are on two different individuals !

I fully support your self-healing direction.

Right now, I am not entirely convinced that you are healthy enough to be in a healthy marriage.

My suggestion for you is to dive into what your mental health group directs you to try.

I also think that you should remove the listening device you placed .... not because I am convinced that your H is not having an EA, but because I am more concerned with YOUR safety at this time.

Too much focus on what your H is or is not doing while you are two-headed, is a not-so-good thing.

Find your single head before you venture back into fixing your marriage.

Love,

Pep

Caren,

And I'd like to add that what anyone thinks here on this board should be the least of your concerns....I have noticed that most people here are very gracious and forgiving, so don't worry about that, ok? We all know we are NO BETTER than anyone else, probably more acutely than the average population!

Take care of yourself,

Caren,

Don't worry. We've all been there. Some of us are still doing the same thing.

You are just being "normal", whatever that is?
