Don't believe those talking heads on TV covering the inauguration.
I'm at home today (walking distance from the Pentagon) and planes are taking off and landing at Nat'l airport just like always.
Maybe "no fly" back and forth to the Mothership?

Nood - Must be! Where are you? I moved here (Arlington View) in Oct. from Mont. Village in Md. A long story.
I was hoping to see the military flyovers later on out the window, but I don't know what time they'll be. In the winter (no leaves on the trees) I can just barely see the top of the Wash. Mon. out the window. Thought about going over to watch some stuff, but too cold and nothing much to see unless you have a ticket. Guess I'll go to Harris Teeter instead.

Ft Myer Wat.
H is doing *stuff* for the ceremony today..might see him on the news..looking blue and kinda irritable.
You wouldn't believe how much work..how many 3 am saturdays have been put into this shindig
And it's freezing! No fun standing out there in not nearly enough clothes just to look the part for a parade.
I think I'll make a nice thick stew for later. And maybe some cherry pie.

Cool, "neighbors"! I work in Chantilly and live in Ashburn. I don't hear any planes from Dulles today, and probably never hear from Reagan. Small world.
