Type your phone number in the search bar (i.e.
555-555-1212) and hit enter. If you want to BLOCK
Google from divulging your private information, simply click on
Phonebook results directly above your phone number.

Then click phonebook removal form and follow directions.
Removal takes 48-hours

If you are unlisted in the
phone book, your number probably won't be in there.

If your number does come up
if you click on map, it will show you a directmap to your home!

Yes that will remove it from the phone book registry.

Keep in mind, this does NOT remove it from any Googe.com search pages.
If this info is available anywhere else on the internet, google will still index it.

Thanks Chris, I didn't know that.

Here is the site for registry removal...I just removed our phone number by following the simple directions.

Here is the site for an easy removal form to fill out.

This is great info....FWH has been in NC for almost three months.

We changed our home number with no forwarding number because OW called here after H ended contact. She and her constant male companion are "wack jobs" OW constant companion falsely charged FWH with battery and later threatened to beat up and sue H. I could just see one of them looking up old number and trying to reestablish contact...so thanks, Flowergirl for the great info for additional protection!

Sighhhhhhhhhhhh.....what we have to do to live our lives in peace. It is a tangled web FWS's weave that we have to untangle. Sighhhhhhhhhhh
