Hi. It's me, carnation, my H is the truck driver who is denying big time. Cell phone records indicate that he receives many incoming calls (my best guess is that she is hitting *67) some for over 100 minutes !! He has also been known to use calling cards.
The last couple of times that he has come home, we have gotten along really, really well. Mainly because I am in Plan A and it seems to be working much better. He has always talked of me joining him on the road. Well, before all these phone calls, and other suspicious things, I had no interest whatsoever in doing this. But now !! well I feel in order to save my marriage, I must do this. I am very fearful of it, but I am more fearful of losing my H.
Today I am giving my two week notice at work. I have been there for over 6 years. This is no little thing to me. But I feel that I have no choie. Most everyone at work knows about my problems with my H and after today they will probably try to have me committed !!
Just last week when he was home, I checked his cell phone call log, after having another discussion about phone calls and him denying, there was absolutely none. He had deleted all of them. Only causing me to freak out more.
Anyway, would you have done almost anything to avoid the pain of the affair ? Under the circumstances, I feel that I must go. I really do not want to but also feel I have no choice if I want to save my marriage.
Please reply as to if you would go to if you were me. I have no children at home.

Hi Carnation !

I am kind of glad that you haven't hit d-day yet and all the pain that means, but I also feel theres a malevolence in the air around you, waiting for an evil storm to burst and rage.

I think going on the road with your H will be very useful indeed.
You'll be there for amny of his calls I guess, and you will be able to see if its a male friend, work or just calling teh sports results a syou would hope.

or, if teh call pattern change sthat will tell you something too.

Also in spending a lot of close time wth him, you will see how intimately he invests in you.
After a while on the road you will find out for sure if he's having an A or not IMO.and, as long as you have the right attitude, you might even have a blast !

Trust but verify Carnation. I think you should go.

I wish I had gone to Italy with my FWW when I had the chance. I would've found out about their EA before it became physical.

All blessings.

carnation, has he agreed that you can even come? I suspect he might be resistant to that idea now. If he is having an affair, he would have to make a choice. Have you discussed it with him? I would hate to see you quit your job all for naught.

I think going on the road with him is the best thing you can right now. I would definately do it if I loved my husband and wanted to stay married.

I tend to share the same worry as Mel though. The way he acts over the next two weeks before you actually leave your job and go might get a little rocky and bring some surprises.

If you go I sure hope you have a laptop to take along, so you can stay in touch and get good support. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
