Sorry for your Sitch.
It's funny, because everytime I sit down to watch a movie with my FWW it has some kind of Affiar going on it. I mean is this what society has become?
We are currently in recovery and I still have those day's like your having right now.
Stay calm and work your Plan A
I am here if you need someone to chat with...

I know exactly what you mean. I can't even watch a romantic film at all anymore. I watch action and comedy, and Adult Swim. There's gotta be a time when the anger ends and the pain fades......and it will, but I think it's just like any other grieving process...takes time....

Well let me tell you, that you're not even safe with a horror movie.
WH came over to see DS15 and DD10, and we watched the movie "Saw".............yeah, a horror flick, but the main character was cheating on his wife with his secretary and it showed some scenes of the wife saying stuff like "Why don't you just admit that you hate me? It'd be a lot easier" And his daughter in the movie, which was about DD10's age said to her Dad "Daddy you're not going to leave us are you?" and he assured her he'd never leave her and Mommy.
I'm like Okay, just shoot me, I stay the hell away from chick flicks and drama these days, and I get smacked in the face with it on a horror movie.

How about the songs on the radio? I listen to music, but don't really LISTEN. Well I have started tuning in to the words and they are so depressing.
Plus, half the popular tunes are triggers now.
Yep. I'm avoing all the early 2000 anthologies when they start coming out in another 10 years.

thanks all, I can't believe how easy it is to set my mind off. I mean, we were watching Laura Croft, Tomb Raider for pete's sake. Whoda thunk. And then, usually when my mind pops these thoughts into it, my hands start shaking, and my W ask's, whats wrong, why are you shaking? And I think planA planA, I mean, like duh!!
As for the songs,NCwalker, you are so right, the W is into country, me, not so much, and a couple songs that play alot right after dday were Gretchen wilson??? singing at the grand ole opry about what she thinks about so she doesn't cheat and then the other was about a guy looking in his rearview mirror at his WW saying the other guy can have her. (wish I new the titles). anyway, just tired of the thoughts, wish I knew how to override them or replace them.
On the good side, W and I are getting along pretty good, She opened up to me about some details of her evening, last weekend. so some progress. But more importantly, I know she wants to be married to me, and I believe in her own way is working on her side of the M. She is reading alot of Christian based self help books, God allows u turns, and 1 the MC gave her to read. plus she is almost done with HNHN So alot of positive stuff. just want to get rid or at least slow down the triggers. thanks again.
