My wife of 15 years decided she's moving out. Her reason is she needs her space. I love her dearly and want to make things right but when I ask her what I can do to fix it she just doesn't answer. I've told her I don't want her to leave but she insists on going anyway. I've asked is there is someone else, she says no but I'm not too sure. I have a trust issue with her and if there is someone else then I need to know so I can move on. Help!

Dear Paul,
"Needing Space" is a common excuse for those who are in an affair to use when they don't want to tell the truth. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that your wife is in an affair.
Why do you have trust issues with your wife? Has she had an affair before? If so, is she behaving now as she did back then?
Please give a little more information so we can try to help.

Thank you for your response. My wife has lied to me numerous times in the past. Not relating to any affair that I know of. I travel alot for work and when I do come home she hides her cellphone. I find that to be very suspicious. I've asked her point blank if she's leaving because of someone else, she denies it but deep down I have a feeling that I'm right. I love her dearly and if I have been to busy with a new job and neglected her I wish she would tell me. I sent her a dozen roses and wrote her a letter will I was away on business and when I got back she said it was all BS. I just need her to be honest with me and tell me if she wants to try and work it out. I'm just very torn about this whole thing.
