A BH I know just settled out of court for $850,000 from the rich OM.

His wife was having an A with OM and had OM's baby while still married to BH. He didn't know the baby wasn't his until he caught her with OM a few months after the baby was born. He immediately had a DNA test done which proved baby wasn't his.

His wife wasn't willing to stop affair with rich OM and filed for divorce. By filing first, she managed to get the house and car, with the BH having to continue making the payments as part of his child support for their other children. Basically, she wiped him out. She sold the house and moved in with OM (whose wife had divorced him for the 2nd time, since it was the 2nd time she had caught him in an affair.).

BH sued OM for alienation of affection, and also got compensation for supporting the OC during the time he thought she was his.
