Hi everyone, I'm new here and am asking for the prayers of everyone to help heal my marriage. My wife has cheated in the past and we patched that up with a band aid. Now do to the fact that I have not shown her enough love, we're in trouble again. We are going to seek counsel and this site has been a great help to me. It has given me the courage to go on and fight for her love back and tear down the wall that has formed between us. God brought us together and she has recently saved my nephew's life by donating a kidney to him. It would be hard to lose her and every time I would see him, think of her. I know that we can save the marriage, we just need all the prayers we can get.

I will say prayers for you. Say some for me too. Look to God to show you the strength you have inside of you. I wish you the best.

Thank you and you are in my prayers. I am feeling a little strength to go about my daily business, with all the prayers we shall overcome.

I will be keeping you in my prayers. I will be out for a while, but will check in from time to time. Going to a wedding of all things, and I'm in the wedding. Its going to be hard, but need to be there for big sis. Hope things are looking up for you. Keep praying and use the strength that God has given you. God bless.

We are working on it, we have just entered counseling and so far it has helped. The main thing is being honest with each and being more open about ourselves. Your in my prayers and keep us in yours.

We are still having trouble and need all the prayers that we can get. She still is not fond of the therapy idea. I found that during individual session, one of my problems is within myself. I do everything for everyone else and not much for me. She has to learn that only you can make youself happy and to stop listening to the wrng people. There are lots of people trying to help us and she just needs to listen to them instead of the "friemds". This is hard, but I do believe that God brought us together and He will keep us together.

Ok I'm back here now and Prayer is still needed. Even though she has moved out she is still on my mind. We talk everyday and get along. However, I would still love to see her come home so that we can work out our problems. She is a great person, but confused. SHe has asked for her Bible and hopefully she will start to find herself and to deal with her problems that way. I still believe that she is need of therapy and maybe some meds.

bscope9 - I've been reading about boundaries and limits and they have to be set in order for others not to hurt us and take advantage of us and vice versa. I don't know everthing about your problems but I know that love conquers all things.
I also had an affair and my husband has forgiven me. Counseling is absolutely needed in order to move on and if your wife is not willing to do it then it's going to be very hard for any progress to be made.
I know you love her, but as I always told my husband, saying you love someone is sometimes not enough. Actions speak louder than words.
Hang in there. Remember, God holds the future. My husband and I have been separated now for almost four months and it has been hard on me. But God restores and he comes right on time. We just need to learn how to completely and surrender our marriages to him. As my counselor told me... I was seeking for that undying love from my husband but the Lord was telling the whole time... HERE I AM.. I LOVE YOU COMPLETELY.. and only HE can satisfy the desires of our hearts.
I will be praying for you.

Thanks I need all the prayers that I can get. She talked toher Dad last night and did not say a whole lot to him. He feel that moving away from where we are in Georgia and maybe both going home to Ohio would help us to get both of out lives back together. I have not liked living here since we moved here. This place had been nothing but troubles and several other people that I know are going thru similar problems. Her brother and dad feel like she will come home and we can start a healing process, however my hope is starting to wane, but I still have the faith that the Lord can and will work. I cannot accept the fact that He would have brought us together only to not keep us together.

God wants marraiges to work. Maybe you do need to move away and start fresh. In my case that wouldn't work (I had A with OM six months ago). But this may work for you. Keep the faith. God works in mysterious ways. Just remember, to surrender it 100% and let God do the work. He will bring you through this.
Isaiah 40:31... THose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will wak and not be faint."
