So much for those "authoritative moral standards" - once again.
WAT versus unauthoritative moral standards?? lol Mel<------would rather be called a hypocrite than a heathen!

Stand by for anger you have not imagined your husband capable of. Also, is it acceptable just to put the phone down instead of trying to come up with some smart reverse babble if he gets too scarey? Alph.

Alph, try your best to be sweetness and light when he calls. Don't let him bait you! Just say, I am sorry you are unhappy, dear. Great job on the exposure!

Great job on the exposure! Thanks Melody! Exposure is the hardest thing I've ever done - even giving birth was easier! Alph.

versus unauthoritative moral standards?? Not a laughing matter. Very, very sad and unreliable. Who with authoritative moral standards can be relied upon? It's a crap shoot. Yep. Again, there seems to be no value to have standards with a higher pedigree than a firm, personal foundation if you can discard them at any time. My personal moral standards are clearly better than those pedigreed ones of these hypocrits. Period. No contest. No rebuttable possible. And I am not alone............ WAT

WAT, the issue here isn't "authoritative" morals versus "unauthoritative" morals, because morals are morals. The issue is hypocrisy and living up to those morals. Hypocrisy is found in all walks of life and is not exclusive to religious organizations. You can't use the hypocrisy of one institution to sweepingly condemn the rest of them.

Alph,
That was awesome! You did great. You are really gettin a back bone eh? I remember how angry I would get and at that very moment I would make a call or email someone new. Then the anger would pass and I would say OMG what have I done now? But it all worked in my favor, every bit of it.
Please make sure you are taking care of yourself during this time. You have to have your strength and you don't want an H coming home to a half dead walking wife right? Eat good, sleep as well as you can and really pamper yourself. Take baths and listen to good music to keep you happy.
I hope your day continues to get brighter by the minute because you deserve it. When you get a minute give us the play by play with the head on the phone will ya?
I can't believe Pep restrained herself, where is Susan? She really needs to know that Pep has that in her !

You rock Alphin!
You're not on AD are you? How about trying Kalms....you can get them from any pharmacy...all natural product and WORK. I tried St John's Wort, Rescue Remedy etc....but Kalms took the edge off and stopped me feeling ill (panic/self loathing) and able to cope (might be a good idea for when/if he phones angry).

Alph - keep telling yourself that you did the right thing. You tried to do the best right thing earlier with the Headmaster, but his moral standards were turned off in favor of his own butt. Hopefully he's in the minority.
Hunker down for the blast. The aftershocks. They're coming.
Sometimes doing the right thing feels temporarily uncomfortable. If it was always easy, we wouldn't have so many problems in society. You are setting an example for others and no matter hat happens, you will have a really excellent chance of exiting this life crisis with a clear conscience. The value of this cannot be overstated.
Edited to add: AND, unfortunately, exposure may not be completed. The nice man at the Commission talked a good talk, but you don't know what he actually will do. Unless he does all the right things consistent with the claimed standards, further exposure over HIS head may be needed. Your power is expanding.
WAT

Alph -- Awesome job -- simply awesome.
One last suggestion from me -- let the Omlettes parents know the consequences she is facing about losing her job because of her affair. It will legitimize your claims.
You have done the right thing! You're fighting for your family. Stop feeling ill -- look at your daughters, and think "I'm doing this for them"

I'll get the Kalms - I think b0b recommended them too.
Thanks, StrongFoundation.

Ill? I was dry heaving for two days.
On the day I exposed with proof ( exposure number 2) I was doing some TV for work and I got a txt from Squid saying "I'll be gone with the kids when you get back, you ***!".
And I had to do the TV pitch !
You did the rightest thing that has ever been done. Your WH will thank you eventually, like Squid thanked me.

WAT - thanks for that. I know I've done the right thing, and don't feel any guilt at all - just fear of the outcome!
Lexxxy - I might just send them another letter. I'm sure they'd love to hear from me again.

I wonder how long it will take before the headmaster talks to them?

Mine are "Kalms" they have Hops powder, Valerian and Gentian. My mum was so impressed with them she bought some when her father (my grandfather) was dying at Easter this year. She'd previously been on AD but had come off them late last year.
