I got a job offer. More money, more time with our 4yr old son, and just plain happier. When I told my husband he didn't like it at all. Then a couple of days later he told me to do what ever made me happy. So I gave my 2 week notice. Well out of the blue he changes his mind. So what do I do??? I went ahead and delayed my notice at work for now, but my start date is July 5th. I thought he would support me in this. Should I go ahead because I want the job or do I give it up to keep the peace at home????

Hi there pw

I'm still relatively new here, but when I read your post I was curious about your Hs reasons for not wanting you to move? Is his answer based on anything rational?

I've not read your other posts, but does this relate to an affair situation?

Perhaps you could give a few more details, and I'm sure others will chip in with their opinion.

He doesn't think that I will make much money. I will be selling insurance and 90% is commission. He doesn't think I have what it takes to get the job done. I wouldn't have a problem with his choice if he would have told me how he felt before I took the job and gave my notice.
