I know how you're feeling - to an extent as I don't know where exactly your husband went or if you're talking about a divorce or what,

But I do know that I miss my wife terribly right now..

Fox - I'm in plan B and not doing a very good job (a couple of moments of contact). However, he keeps giving me these little glimmers of his old self. That's what makes me the most sad ... and perplexed. I know he is no longer my husband, but I miss who he was and what 'we' were. I'm just a little down today.

its interesting to hear you say that; mainly because I'm in the position that your husband sounds to be in. I've made some mistakes in my marriage that I wish I could take back (name-calling and some neglect). I've begun working on these things through counseling and this website because I care greatly about my marriage and my wife. She told me she sees glimmers of my old self sometimes, but then she says it just goes away over the course of a few days.

Just know that if your husband is anything like me, or in any position like I am, odds are (although i dont know your specific circumstances, or what kind of a person he is) that he does love you very much - its a matter of learning to show it properly and being aware enough of your and his needs combined.

I've never not loved my wife; and it breaks my heart to know that she thinks otherwise. Especially when the only thing I've ever wanted is for her to be happy.

We all need a down day every now and then. I completely understand how much you miss him. I only hope it will get better for you. (for us both actually!)
