Hi everyone. I have never posted over here before. But I posted a post on the GENERAL DISCUSSIONS board that I probably should have posted here. It is called HAS ANYONE EVER HOOKED UP WITH THE OW/OM'S SPOUSE? sounds wierd I know but read the post. I was just curious on input on the post and don't know how to like cut and paste it over here. Maybe you could swing over there take a look and comment??? mlhb

XH has multiple addictions. 26 year history of drug&alcohol problems, physical as well as emotional abuse.

gen questions II discussionSorry, I cant really reply of this. I did have contact with OW's H in the discovery phase of the affair and then initally when he was going through divorce. It was possible that I would have testified in his divorce trial due to my X being an alcoholic/addict and he was concerned with his 5YO child riding in hmy X's car while he was impaired. But it was not necessary for me to go to court. OW is MUCH youger and her X is only a little older than her so it never crossed my mind to enter any kind of relationship with him, or anyone else at that time anyway. I was hurting too bad and needed to repair my life. Seems like this situation would only make things worse at a time when you need to work on yourself and understanding your part in the marriage failure. Seems like a big mistake to me.

Oh yes, I agree. No relationship for either one of us right now with anyone. We both need time to heal. Like I said, we have known eachother a very long time and I know the family well. I meant like in the future when we are both ready to date again. And who knows when that will be! I was just curious if anyone else had seen this type of thing happen. mlhb
