The OM died over 5 months ago and I still want revenge. My FWW has decided not to go to his grave because she feels that I will tip over his tombstone and piss on his grave. It's one thing when you can actually think of having revenge, it's another when all you can do is think about it and you know you're never going to get it.
Now she is grieving for the loss of a "friend" and its driving me crazy. Not easy to sit around and not LB.

Tough to compete with a ghost! Many of us probably wish the OP would drop dead, but sometimes it creates it's own problems. I feel for you. Good luck!

You may have hit on the solution in your statement.
Fisrt I would make it absolutely clear that you consider your FWW's desire to visit the OM's grave just a grade below the actual A. I would also tell her that you would not be responsible for the renewed damage she would do to your M and that it might be irrevocably broken( if you TRULY feel that way).
She should not go because it would hurt you deeply and not because you would p*ss on his grave( which I would do BTW !)
Persons that die young, from Elvis, JFK, and every other rock star, become icons to this living world, usually in direct contrast to what the person never accomplished.
You have a tough problem, my friend. Best of luck
