OKive been married about 3 years. have a nice house, 1 2 yr old son with another on the way. Im happy with my life. Kinda.
I go to work 5 days a week. tues-thurs 12-8, fri and sat 12-10. A passion of mine before we met was gaming. I used ot play Dungeons and dragons (lol) once a week. And game at home on the cimputer. Being married and havin a family has changed that alot of course and i have no regrets about giving up the once a week gaming at a friends.
Usually everyweek we go somewhere at least once. Either to a park, theater, some sort of amusement place for my son. Were always renting movies 2+ nights a week. On my days off i do somthing with the house, spend some time with my son and wife doing somthing. Then a few times a week like to play this online game of mine. ( if money was better wed be out doing somthing else) But as things stand driving 100+ miles 1 way to work with the gas prices and the type of season it is at work money is tight.
My wife always is complaining. Whether it be about somthing trivial a parent said a few days ago, things her mothers doing or not doing, or just the fact that she is sick of being in the house. she is always complaining.
5 out of 7 days a week i wake up to it. And its getting hard ot deal with. I ask her what she wants to do and i get complains about whats going on. What am i to do. Seek counseling. Pack up gaming?
let me tel lyou sothing about gaming. I dont usually start gaming untill my sons either taking a nap or going off to bed for one. Its cheap. Small monthly cost, and its what i do to unwind. now thre have been weeks where i havent played at all. i go 4 days or more without going online but the second i do she is complaining about it.
And even if we went somewhere a day ago she wants to get outta the house. For example. one day on my day off we went to a nursery rhyme themes park where they had rides and animals or my son. spent all day there came back and watched movies. the next day. i jump online (cause we were not doing anything. and she starts complaining saying we need to get our son outta the house again. Its frustrating.
I work, watch movies , take her places, try change things up when we can afford it. were always going out to eat or take out to eat in.
opinions please. And keep in mind she is a stay home mother ( of her choice)
