Ok, I have an e-mail address from Hotmail for my husband, lovingly with his and the OW's initials intertwined. No password. Help! They say that if you don't know your password, you can provide an alternate e-mail to send it to. It doesn't work.

Hi Kate,
I don't know what browser that you're using, but with Internet Explorer you can set your preferences to remember things you've typed. Whenever I'm at a site that I've been to before, when I begin to type something there, like my username/password here, all I have to type is the first letter, and a drop down menu will appear with my choices of words that I've typed at that site in the past. If you choose this setting, my guess is the first time your H goes to use the account, no choices will appear, but when you go there, you might be able to decipher the password with typing in letters starting with A. I'm not sure if this will work, but it's worth a shot. I also can't remember where in IE you can choose this feature, but if you're using IE, I can look into it for you. There are also programs that you can purchase that will save everything typed on your computer. Someone else will have to give you insight on that one, as I'm not too familiar with them. Good luck.
------------------
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
Helen Keller
thanks. Actually I was just playing around and found that. Someone else might find this helpful. I set up an e-mail acct as if i was the OW, with her name and such. It gave me different variations on her name that I could use, thus ensuring that she was a member. Also I was able to look up her name in Hotmail directory. Possibly might help someone...
I'm not giving up without a good fight

Hi again,
I just tried that thing with my password at hotmail, and when I typed the first letter in I got no choices. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Guess it doesn't work with passwords. Maybe you can get that program where you can save everything typed on your computer. Apparently, it can be hidden where he would have a very difficult time finding it. It's worth a shot.
------------------
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
Helen Keller
SUCCESS! The ignorance of a man in lust astounds me. 1)I used the pull down for Hotmail and it pulled up his user name. I put in the correct information ie the "hint" they ask. I answered it because he was not feeling very creative, and ta-da, access to e-mail. Bad, I know, if he finds out. But at least now I know at least for this e-mail what's going on behind y back.
