There was a blotter item in my local paper this morning about a 50-ish woman caught driving the wrong way on a local road around 1 a.m. the other night. She had ODed on sleeping pills and was trying to commit suicide b/c she had just found out her husband was having an affair and had an OC.
She was taken to a local hospital for observation, according to police.
Isn't that horrible?

While we're telling depressing stories....
In a local suburb yesterday a 45 y.o. father of 2 suffocated his 2 pre-teen sons and then shot himself.
He and his W were in the process of a divorce and he was, apparently, trying to "get even" with her.
Tragic....
