Am going out with cute resident (ortho)...known him 2years. went out shortly after the divorce was final and I messed it up b/c I was really not ready to date back then.

since that time, was happy being me and being single. (yes!)...dated a pa I used to work with, and then my dude from college..(the prodigal bf)...

prodigal freaked out and pulled the disappearing act for the last time last week...during new year stuff. so I broke up w/him via voicemail.

He was silent for a week, the prodigal...and got vmail from him at 1 am last night...saying how much me missed me <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> yea right.

Got call from cute resident who asked me out last week but our schedules collided and we couldn't go out.

our schedule do NOT collide tonight.

He is taking me out to dinner in midtown after rounds.

I look HORRID...don't know what to wear...was out looking at homes after work.

and yea, my xh...the infamous darth...sith lord xtroidinaire...is coughing up a good chunk of change to give me as downpayment on a home...and will get me a good interest rate also...he owed me about three times the amount he's coughing up though...anyway it's a small win for me. especially since he screwed my credit with the war of the roses hummer disaster of 03. (his fault) where he left me hanging after deliberately NOT making his hummer payments for 3 mos and buying instead a new mercedes convertible so he and ow could play...

courts on my side...creditors unfortunately were not and could not be wiped away...but that's history now. i am all good and moving on from that horror.

so this is tonight...looking rough. still in workclohtes (scrubs and labcoat as I type)...need good karma and feelings and stuff sent my way!

Now, (((Peaches))) why you gonna make up a story like that to these fine folks, I'm willing to bet you are 10 minutes away from looking like the belle of the ball. Have a wonderful time tonight.

PS.... Was looking through old pics with my wife and saw the ones of me playing with your hero in the water fountain, what a wonderful time......

PS.... A note to mother's out there, never let a man play with your child at a water fountain and ask him not to let the child get wet..... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Except I think I was the one who ended up soaked.......

looked ok...and HE GOT PAGED OUT five minutes into date...his last patient during rounds had their wbc count fly thru the roof and the darn pa guy who was covering at the hospital after E left did not know what to do...

e and I have another date tomorrow night to make up for this one.

and yes billy! that was soooo fun. still need to know where you and your lovely wifey are registered and your city is still the same I suppose? how is all?

I am still freaking out a bit. we were sitting down to coffee...he slid next to me. arm around back of my chair. we LOCKED EYES...it was GOOOOOOOOOOD.

he's still as cute as ever. charming? did I mention charming? and we still are gonna try to make this stupid thing work.

see? there is a logistical issue here that is the problem. dating in atlanta might as well be dating somebody across the state from you as the metro area is about fifty miles across.

and then you factor in my taking emergency call wtih E covering one of the busiest hospitals and one of 10 best in us...he's always getting called in b/c he's a grunt (resident)...

bill knows about the size of this town. it is soooo huge.

and bill..you need to bring your precious wife, the girls, and all of you come downtown this summer...new aquarium is incredible...two whale sharks..only ones in world in captivity. and also "world of coke" is going next door to it...and centennial olympic park is across street from it. it's amazing. almost as amazing as the flyers we saw that day for the "all lesbian lip synching version of THE BACKSTREET BOYZ"..remember that one? I laughed for days at those flyers.

looks like we both got good news from the guys we like *wink* my surfer guy is taking me out this weekend and has "thought" about our situation and discovered he does have feelings and wants to give it a try too...but he is scared as I thought and wants to proceed slowly. >.> <.< I am SOOO excited....*hugs* lets hope our streaks of good luck continue.
