Thank You for posting that enneagram (sp?) on another thread.

I read the choices, and it was NOT hard to find mine. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I am gonna have to look into this a little more.

Do you have an online link to more information on this?

Thanks

Lem <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Lem...

Sorry to "butt in" here, as I'm not sure which enneagram site that you are referring to, however, I have found this one very interesting www.enneagraminstitute.com There are a couple of free tests you can take...I personally gained a lot of insight about myself...I am a 7 and Mr. Wondering is a 3...

Hope you Enjoy!

You're not butting in at all.

Thanks for taking the time to give me the link.

<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />You Bet! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> But you gotta comeback and give us your enneagram type after taking the tests, Deal?

Deal !

Out of curiosity sakes, what choice do you think fit me best with respect to what Stillwed posted.

I am wondering if I view myself as others do.

I'd bet you're a 3 or maybe 4...

Never mind...your talking about Enneagrams...I thought you were talking about something else <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Mr. W...LOL, that was indeed, good...except for one small caveat...I just told Lem above that you were a 3...and we know that wouldn't be the case on anything except Enneagrams!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> (Honey...just using our "Newlywed Game" policy there... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />...you're welcome!!!)

Anyway, Lem...Lord that's one heck of a thread that Stillwed has there...I wouldn't know where to begin...I'm just a baby "enneagrammer"...go take the free 10 minute test on the site I suggested and let us know...Mr. W and I think you're a 1 based on the "snippet" definition there...we didn't read the in depth section...and remember, I'm a 7..."It's all about me", <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> I just can't be bothered with the analysis of others...I'm TOTALLY KIDDING, KID!!!

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Almost dead on !

Interesting to say the least.

Hey Lem! That is so cool that you are interested in the Enneagram. I've found it so helpful in all of my relationships.

I'm a One with a Two wing. So do you think you are a One also or am I confused?

My favorite site is the same one that Mrs. Wondering gave to you. Another favorite is www.enneagramcentral.com . Here's another:

http://www.thechangeworks.com/ennprimer/enn9styls1.html

Check it out and get back to me! This is fun!

Oh, there is no question that I am a "one"....in that enneagram classification at least.

I'd surmise I am a 10 on most other things... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

As Mrs. Wonderings would likely say (It is her joke and she gets the credit):

Q: You know why men instinctively know how to read maps???

A: Cause only a man can conceive of 1 inch equaling 1 mile.

Hey Stillwed...you seem to really know a lot about the Enneagram...I'm a 7 with an 8 wing...in reading your other thread, I was sad to hear that 7's were considered the <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />"sluts" <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> of the Enneagram...YIKES, I swear that's not true of me...though it doesn't look too very good with my being the FWW, huh?EMPHASIS on FORMER-I am in a much better emotional state now!!!

Did you or are you going to take a class in this? I only read a few bits of the other thread, so forgive me if I'm making you "repeat" yourself...

I knew when I wrote this that it was going to come back to bite me in the [censored]! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Here's the deal...it has to do with the health level! Also, although she'd never admit to it, but I was quoting my Enneagram teacher...lol! We were having a weird discussion in the first place and this came up. It was pretty funny at the time.

I think that the general idea behind it is that the Seven's fixation is gluttony. They want to experience it ALL. There isn't enough time or energy to experience everything the Seven wants to experience. When you add to this the Seven's lack of guilt you can see where they might gotten this reputation. Sevens also have trouble with commitment. Here's a site with the subtypes of each type. Scroll down to the Sevens.

http://www.geocities.com/lifexplore/chvar.htm

If a Seven is very unhealthy you could see where all of this could lead. On the other hand, Seven is my Path of Integation, or where I go in emotional health! It's where I get the stick out of that afore mentioned place and enjoy myself! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I become more spontaneous and carefree. I LIKE it at Seven!!

There are no bad or good types...only healthy and unhealthy ones. The goal is to become aware of our level of health by observing ourselves. The observation alone allows us to peel off the layers of our personality that no longer serve us.

A really good book you might like is The Wisdom of the Enneagram by Riso and Hudson. H and I took an Enneagram class together about 9 months ago. It was based on this book.

I did this test some time ago and have never before found something that describes me so accurately(The Healthy part, that is) <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />.It's scary.

Also,it just proved that Melody and Saddam have a lot in common! LOL Maybe she will come over and explain.
