What if i just can't let go....and refuse. I mean i will not sit by and let him suffer. The one and only way i could even think of walking away is if I know for sure he is really okay there...and i am far from convinced of that. Our children deserve a dad in thier life..and if my standing firmly in this relationship accomplishes that..then so be it. Because i honestly feel that if i go, he will commit suicide.

Does it not strike you at least a little odd that he does not leave his wife??!!! He sais he will commit suicide if he cannot be with you, so why not leave his wife so he can be with you?
What is she holding a gun to his head? He doesn't want to hurt her? Read here and you will find the betrail is the worse pain. He cannot hurt her more!

You should be admiring his wife for wanting to stay married to him and wanting to save her marriage, but more importantly wanting to save the relationship that they HAVE (not had, but HAVE!).
