I got a NC letter! IMVHO, the most sincere NC letter I have ever seen. It was written by a man that wants to be a better man. A man that wants his family. Yep, we are reconciling. I was afraid it was one of those holiday false recoveries that Believer warned about but no he is so sincere. I knew he loved me. I have known that for certain for months but the A is finally over! Two long years and an OC and we stand on the threshold of recovery. Am I frightened? You betcha. Am I ready? Yes! I feel better equipped than I ever have in my life. I have gotten him to read here at the boards some.

Well, it is a cautious first step. Watch your back, watch for cues and make him EARN back your trust. Do you have a plan of recovery in place?

I am cautious Mel and the only plan I have right now is for us to start tackling the MB material. My hope is he will eventually post here but I won't hold my breath LOL

2/07 Affair over, begging me to take him back - it's too late.
WH has tried numerous times to reconcile.

He helps with the kids, cooking, cleaning etc. All without my asking. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Oh and Pep, your words about my fingerprints all over things has really, really helped me.

Dorry, we have discussed what I need to begin to trust him. The first step was giving me access to his truck. I cleaned the whole thing out! Next was the NC letter and a copy of the receipt for the cancelled secret phone and last is the whole truth. We have yet to work out the manner in which it is done but he has answered little questions as I ask. Honesty and keeping his word are the tasks he is working on himself.

I am keeping my distance to allow him to grow and change while I continue to work on my issues. I don't want to be crushed again either but I would have been if we had D'd so why not give God the opportunity to show me where He has been leading me.
