I come to you today with a sad heart. I have recently found out that MSchluter has cancer. Cindy told my H that he has a DNR in place & he is not doing well. It looks as though he might not last the week. I'm at a loss for words right now. My heart is breaking. For those that know Mike, he is one special guy. And he has always stayed the course for his M, his kids & Cindy. They have made such strides in their M & have come to a place that Mike dreamed of for a long time. They are very happy together right now & the love Cindy has for Mike is very evident in the way that she speaks & the things she's doing for him in his time of need.
Could we please band together to emit prayers for this family? The family's going to need a lot of prayer to cover them during this time & Michael will truly be missed by everyone here I'm sure.
Cindy, please know that Adam & I (Yvette) are here for you. You have our phone # & if you need ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to call us, anytime, day or night. Please tell Michael, if you can, that we love him, we love all of you. We have been blessed by your friendships.

Oh my gosh! ST, we love Mike here. He went through so much to win Cindy's heart back. They will be in my prayers. I am just stunned! He was just posting here a few weeks ago with updates.
ST, thanks so much for giving us this opportunity to pray for Mike and for Cindy.

This is very, very sad news.
Watching Mike go from someone who could barely cope to someone who was so happy was one of the nicest things I've seen on the board.

I am sitting here in tears right now. The last time my H spoke to Mike was a few weeks ago. He had called him to get him set up for an online game they play together. He called Adam & said, "Pick up the phone, [censored]!!" and then started laughing. I wish now I would have saved that little bit of his voice on the answering machine. I just wish there was more we could do but being in a different state is hard.
That's the thing about acquiring internet friends. We get so attached & being in a different state, sometimes we don't even get to see their faces, but the love shines through the screen.

Don't know Mike's relationship with Christ, but it sure sounds like God has been merciful to him and his wife and is waiting to welcome him into His arms.
There is no doubt that this is a very difficult time for Cindy and the children, and I pray that having already experienced the love and mercies of God that they will continue to feel His love and comfort throughout this time.
God bless them and comfort them in the knowledge that though it is painful at this time, God is faithful to His promises for ever, and this is just a "waypoint" toward the time when all pain and sorrow is wiped away forever.

Lord God, Prince of Peace I pray you deliver unto Mike and Cindy your peace that surpasses all understanding that they may be quiet in their love for YOU and for each other while YOUR will is done amongst them.
I humbly intercede for these people Lord God, that the blessings you choose for them be metered to them in full measure.
