Anybody own a Mac then you'll like this one
Microsoft Dinner 98
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MICROSOFT'S NEW TV DINNER PRODUCT:
You must first remove the plastic cover. By doing so you agree
to accept and honor Microsoft rights to all TV dinners. You
may not give anyone else a bite of your dinner (which would
constitute an infringement of Microsoft's rights). You may,
however, let others smell and look at your dinner and are
encouraged to tell them how good it is.
If you have a PC microwave oven, insert the dinner into the
oven. Set the oven using these keystrokes:
mstv.dinn.//08.5min@50%heat
Then enter:
ms//start.cook_dindin/yummy\|/yum~yum:-)gohot#cookme.
If you have a Macintosh microwave oven, insert the dinner and
press start. The oven will set itself and cook the dinner.
If you have a Unix microwave oven, insert the dinner, enter
the ingredients of the dinner found on the package label, the
weight of the dinner, and the desired level of cooking and
press start. The oven will calculate the time and heat and
cook the dinner exactly to your specification.
Be forewarned that Microsoft dinners may crash, in which case
your oven must be restarted. This is a simple procedure.
Remove the dinner from the oven and enter:
ms.nodarn.good/tryagain\again/again.darnit
This process may have to be repeated. Try unplugging the
microwave and then doing a cold reboot. If this doesn't work,
contact your oven vendor. The oven itself is obviously on the
blink.
Many users have reported that the dinner tray is far too big,
larger than the dinner itself, having many useless
compartments, most of which are empty. These are for future
menu items. If the tray is too large to fit in your oven, you
will need to upgrade your equipment.
Dinners are only available from registered outlets, and only
the chicken variety is currently produced. If you want another
variety, call Microsoft Help and they will explain that you
really don't want another variety. Microsoft Chicken is all
you really need.
Microsoft has disclosed plans to discontinue all smaller
versions of their chicken dinners. Future releases will only
be in the larger family size. Excess chicken may be stored for
future use, but must be saved only in Microsoft approved
packaging.
Microsoft promises a dessert with every dinner after '98.
However, that version has yet to be released. Users have
permission to get thrilled in advance.
Microsoft dinners may be incompatible with other dinners in
the freezer, causing your freezer to self-defrost. This is a
feature, not a bug. Your freezer probably should have been
defrosted anyway.

I missed the party....
Tempest deleted the annoying string when I tried to post to it. Thank you tempest.
But here is my part:
Am I too late for the party? Sorry about being out, the new job keeps me pretty occupied. Its' been great. I barely get any sleep because they give out free coffee (Starbucks) and I've had to control myself to two (quarts) a day.
KG, Wassi, we don't have that favor of jello out here. I would like to try it sometime. We do have a brand that is shipped up from Mexico that is pretty good.
Bozos_deb, I just finished the First Man in Rome. I liked it. I was telling Wassi the other day that I generally do not read fiction but for that one I made an exception. It is interesting to see the author’s historical perspective. The book was pretty accurate in detail. From the other histories that I have read about Rome, She got the fine detail.
TNT, A book on racism from the perspective of someone living in rural MN?! Scuse my ignorance but isn’t swatting sketters too distracting to contemplate such things? Are you going to interview the 5 non-whites that live there? : 0 You asked for it. Anyway, when you get portions of it done I would be interested in reading it. I like to read far and wide on a variety of subjects.
Funny story: I use the Library a lot since buying all the books and magazines I read would be cost prohibitive and no bookshelf space. So one day in the midst of the ordeal, HRH went with me to the library and was suprised to see the librarians calling me by my first name. This is a big library that gets thousands of people each day. HRH (at the time) though it was "nerdy" to spend so much time there. But I would rather spend time there than sneaking around.
BTW all check out this month's Psychology Today. There is a great article on forgiveness and why it is sometimes better not to.
Funny Gates story. I have the gerbil in the microwave for anyone that wants a copy.
I like the ad with the mailboy telling the boss , how to buy stock over the internet.
Lor, I've had that soup before and its' great.... Until you find out what the chunks really are.
