"Saints on bikes"... I won $219 (net) in a big haired (Texas) Hold'em Tourney at Harrah's last night. Now I can afford Land O' Lakes butter!

I bought Squid her new wedding ring in vegas. The jeweler had to make it special - they only sell wedding bands for less than ten dollar sand over three million in vegas aparrently !! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
A GREAT ring - some of the diamonds even didn't melt in sopay water yet !

harrah's outdoor bar is one of the best in the world IME. great bands, great cocktail waiters and well placed. cool !

Yo bOb - ever been to Vegas? I was there for the first time last summer. I thought I saw arkie dancing, but it wasn't on a bar. Here's a favorite saying of mine...
when ever I have bad news to tell someone ....that KNOWS this tale...
I say...

Here's the tale.....
there were two brothers
one brother owned a cat he loved and adored....
and he had to go away on long business trip and he asked his other brother to watch his cat...
brother said sure.
cat owner goes off...
every few days the brother away would call and say
how's kitty doing...
and he would hear how every thing was fine...
one day he called and said....
how's Kitty??
other brother said...
your cat's dead....
traveling brother was mortified....
geeez he yells did you have to come out and just say that??
coudn't you have broken the news in a much softer kinder way...
you could of just lied and said....
well there is a problem...
the cat got outside.....
I could have handled that...
and the next time I called to prepare me you could say...well we found the cat he's on the roof and no matter what we can't get him down.....
AND then the NEXT time I called you could say I am sad to tell you that the cat fell off the roof and is no longer with us but did not suffer...
FOR HEAVENS SAKE MAN COULD YOU NOT have broken it to me slowly and in a way like that...??!!!
Brother who was watching the cat...felt horrible....and agreed that coming out and just saying the cat died was not very compassionate...
A few weeks later the traveling brother called home just to see how things were...
and in the middle of the conversation his brother at home...
I got some news to tell you...
MOTHER'S ON THE ROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
