U lovely ladies. How u made my day. Wow, that was a trip down memory lane. LOL!!!

ML, I didn't need t/d much 4 u. You are and were spunky even then. Just a question or 2 set you back on track with a mission. I recall thinking what spunk you have. Even with the car door incident, remember?

BR, my dear dear friend. You never adopted me. Of course it would look a bit funny, me 10+ years older than you, calling you mom. LOL!!!

I read my threads and even see how smart my little one was way back then, imagine this really happened: "I am reminded of what my 6 year old said about his dad. His dad commented the other week in front of his son that he was a bad dad and bad husband. After his father left, our son said, "Mom, if dad is a bad husband why would he want to be married to another woman? Wouldn't he just be another bad husband? My dad used to be a good dad for 6 years, why did he turn into a bad dad?"

Wow..... Yes we have come a long way. Those boundaries are still with me. I am much stronger now and RB a lot. LOL!!!

Hugz to U!

Aloha,
L.

heehee ~ well, LLG posted asking for the URL of the archived board....and I checked the link to make sure it worked before I posted....and next thing ya know I started poking around in my early early posts on the Divorcing board...

I think that we should send the newcomers over there more often, especially when they start imagining that recovery is not really possible. What a lovely store of wisdom is lying around getting dusty!

BR, This made me laugh; "Your H has to hit a bottom. For every individual, that bottom is different. And what's worse, there's no way of knowing where someone's bottom is."

First look for their head. You can generally find a WS's bottom wrapped around their head, no?

added: I spend maybe 2/3 of the time I'm on MB rummaging around in the archives. It's very much worth the time.

With prayers,

A question for Mel - I never knew your story, but after reading your posts dated back in 2002, it sounds like your H had porn issues. Do you think he had sex addiction? How did he overcome his issues?

Sorry milkshake, I just noticed this. No, my DH did not have a sex addiction. He did like to look at nekkid girls on the internet and developed that interest in the years he was single. He hasn't done it in years, fortunately.
