I went to my w's apt last nite and we talked and watched ER(her favorite show). She told me that om is to return to town today after his cruise. She didn't think he would come to apt as he took all his clothes when he left last week. She still has to meet with him and discuss what they are going to do about bills and the furniture he bought.
I told her I didn't want her having contact with om but there's nothing I can do to prevent it.
I'm still reluctant to aske her to move back home, and she's reluctant to move back. We're both afraid the other hasn't changed. She does want to be unhappy and I don't want to go thur the pain again if she decides to leave. I'm also afraid if she lives alone, she would take om back although she has made it pretty clear what she thinks of him after he dumped her, but yet she she says she still has feelings for him. I asked what about me? She says she doesn't know what she feels towards me.
I'm also afraid she will start dating if she is living alone. She has never lived alone and I can see her accepting if someone asks her out. I'm not sure what I would do then.
[This message has been edited by RWD (edited October 01, 1999).]

Maybe you should set up a weekly dating schedule with her to give her the opportunity to know you as you are now. If she's never lived alone maybe she needs that experience to understand herself a little better than she does. It sounds as if she's trying to be very honest with you and that she's interested in maintaining her relationship with you right now, but I would give her her space to make her own committment to which way she wants to go. God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
Rwd, I am a big believer in handling these things at close range. If you want her back then ask her to come back home. Take the risk and make the first move. It will be hard for both of you but you'll be together to work them out. If they don't, she can always move back out. Leave the door open.
