I have posted my story about how my wife is going down the path of separation, because she is having a EA and is deep in the fog. I am out of the house because I was stupid and because of state lawas can't move easily back in.

I am the bread winner, I am focused on the family, and I want my family and marriage to work, that being said.

My job is giving me a flex schedule so I can work around kids schedule, but I will still need to do daycare and other things like that

The wife barely makes enough to pay for gas and essentials.

Her folks live near us now, she could stay with them. I am out of the house and its costing us 500-600 a month that we don't have to have me out of the house.

I am looking at a custody battle to get back into the house and to have my 3 daughters stay with me, giving my W free access to them.

So I was wondering if anyone can give me pointers besides on experience on custody.

I am going to see a lawyer about it today but want other peoples stories and opinions.

I was going to ask friends and church member's for reference letters, any other ideas??

I won custody once. I am in a battle again. You can get custody, but you will need to do a lot of ground work. I can help guide you thru it, as well as some of the "staff lawyers' on here (lol).

The first thing you need to do is get this e-book ( Winning Custody ) and read it. It tells a father everything he needs to know to get custody. Follow it to a tee.

You have a "Y" chromosome, so you start off in a deficit in court. So, you need three times as much "stuff" to counter her two "X" chromosomes. I know that sounds stupid, but that is how the court system works. If you have breasts, you get an extra point! If you dont, then you have to work harder! Such is the problem with men getting custody.
