Posted this for the idjit losers this morning, but since I already have my ticker:

Did 15 min. yoga, then 15 min. core, then 15 min. yoga last night.

Did I mention to you all that McDonalds has an adult Happy Meal? You buy a salad, water/diet pop/tea and you get a free workout DVD. So far I have the Core and Yoga ones....and I'm feeling the burn.

I am officially re-naming the Core DVD "Situps for Sadists" tho.

OWIE!

Also, here ya go:

Zero Fat Berries 'n Cake

You'll need fresh berries, cut in half or sliced (strawberries/sliced)
Add a couple tbsp sugar or splenda, stir and place in fridge to juice up

For the cake, I'll give the actual recipe directions, then the lower sugar directions in parenthesis (sp?)

Angel Food Cake

1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (3/4)
10-12 egg whites at room temp
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar (1/2)

Sift together the flour and powdered sugar 3 times and set aside.

Beat egg whites, cream of tarter and vanilla on high till soft peaks form. Add regular sugar about a tbsp at a time while still beating. Beat all of it till stiff peaks form. Fold in flour/powdered sugar mix a quarter at a time till all folded in. Spoon into an ungreased tube pan (springform works best). Bake at 350 for 40 min or until the top springs back when touched.

Turn upside down and allow to cool IN THE PAN. Once cool, you will need to loosen the cake from the pan with a knife.

It's best to cut this cake with a bread knife because it's so soft and spongy. Spoon cold berries on cake slices.

There is a lot of carbs in this cake...but only if you eat a lot of it. Per slice there isn't much...it's a lot of egg protein and air....and best of all ZERO FAT! None...nada...zip...nothing...zilch...

I did the senior citizen's pace class yestrday morning- I am soooo sore I can not move today. I went to the water aerobics class this morning. I went Monday morning too.

Tonight I will go to my regular strength training and cardio workout while my husband hits a little blue ball around in a big white room (seems like NO fun to me) and my son takes the spin class (I have tried it but it is not my thing)

I need to do better on food today- did really well til dinner last night when my son wanted cajun for his birthday.

I need to make a ticker for water - got 80 oz ysterday but I am a little behind today.

Off for more water-

can someone tell me how to update the ticker?

actually you want to choose "weight loss" not "exercise and fitness"

at least that is what i did.

kimmy, next time i go to macdonald's i'll know what to order. but i do have 1 question for you: will owning the dvd's actually make a difference??

FF, nice ticker!!!

moving, i'm not sure there is a ticker for drinking water... you will have to look. but thanks for the reminder, i have to drink more too!!

i jogged 30 min last night. i was tempted to eat something last night but i did not.

i'm struggling a little with food choices today too. but i managed to steer clear of the plate of oreos left out in the coffee area next to my office.

i ate a proper and pre-planned breakfast and lunch, but i ate the lunch too early so it's going to be a LONG wait until dinner.

the only thing i had that i could have skipped was a glass of chocolate milk. i figure this way, i get the chocolate taste but i also get some vitimins and protien with it.

No.

You have to utilize the DVDs by working out with them.

I swear, my abs are seriously considering skipping Plan Bing me altogether and going straight to Plan D.

I hurt in places I didn't even know belonged to me.

BTW: An ounce (3 fingers worth) of GOOD dark chocolate is actually GOOD for you.

I did four hours of aerobic exercise yesterday. Why? Moving stuff around so the floor refinishers could come. They called yesterday, after a month of delays, and said, "Can we come tomorrow morning at 9:30?"

I was buck nekkid in front of the mirror when they arrived at 8:00am. DD was running around in her pre-clothing happy state as well.

I made them wait.

Quick someone! Take FL's temp. There is something fundamentally wrong with her!!!!

Not like dark chocolate. That's like...the 11th sin or something.

;-)

I'm telling you, that "situps for sadists" DVD is a doozy.

In it you get the choice to use the exercise ball.

Now, I've told some the story...but the Wookie bought me one of those.

I got it out to work out with the very first time...was all serious about it....and rolled off the dern thing bass-ackwards. Butt over head backwards.

The kids thought it was a riot and wanted to try it out for themselves.

Try to stay decorous when your kids are laughing and pointing fingers and saying, "Do it again, Mom."

Humph.

No one was around when I worked out last night.

I was grace personafied.

;-P

Loser's club, this is my first time being a loser, I've always been a prom queen.

Breakfast - whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter

Lunch - wheat thins, veggies & dip (only 1 T), and 2 ham slices

Snack - goldfish

Dinner - Caesar salad, with grilled chicken

Snack - peaches

I plan to run later, does that count, I might lazy my way out of it.

BTW - I'm STARVING!!!!

FTR - I always only drink water
