As if Mel would let a non-native Texan with the name of another country in their ID onto her board.

Change yer moniker and ya might stand a chance.

Pepsi???? Oh my gosh!

Reminds me of a friend of my W's parents. He grew up dirt poor, had a 3rd grade education. His folks left him some very poor land in East Tx. in the 1920's. Yup, you guessed it, it had "earl" on it. He invested in a rather new company named Coke Cola, around 1930 or so.

Whenever she visited his house when she was a little girl, all she could get to drink was Coke, of course she was a Dr. Pepper fan being a good Tx girl. She still tells this story.

Now I must say, that she does now drink diet Pepsi...some. But, her drink of choice is still Dr. Pepper. Whenever we head back down there, it is catfish and hush puppies with DP one night and then out to the hill country for BBQ the next. Been awhile but I don't see the plan changing much.

Long Live the Longneck,

JL
