Well now Missy, Big Red was big in Oklahoma too. So you be careful now. As a kid, that was about all you get out of the filling station cooler was big Rid, Orange Crush, and grape soda pop. I think it was really true all through the plains states in those days before vending machines. Just ice chests with those soft drinks. Thanks for the article. And I STILL don't know where Texas is!!! It doesn't seem to be a very large place does it?? About the size of a national park or something like that?
