Rin! You're so brave. I'm so proud of you!!!
O&H with H about his tone ... learning boundaries ... O&H with your DS .... teaching him how to be the same way .... walking into that meeting as scared as you were .... taking something good out of it instead of letting the intimidation and new-ness drown it out ....
You are awesome!
I'm so impressed by you.

Thank you, AmI! I feel good about it! heck, I feel good about me. I'm looking forward to going next week. I have even talked to F about it; he;s got religion Tues. I pick him up at 6:45 and the meeting starts at 7, good thing they are right down from the house, or I wouldn't make both of them.
I'm going to try to have supper finished so when I drop F off here, he can do like he did tonight...eat, do his homework, and watch some tv. He's a great kid!
MIL called and joked about how much she's got her hand full with the little one. I laughed and said "Yeap, it's like a mini vacation around here with just F and I." L was so happy today, his papa dropped him off at school and told everyone he was being picked up by papa too. Well, Papa didn't have intentions of picking L up, but guess what, papa did! LMAO
L's got them so wrapped! MIL also send pics of the new addition to the family. I didn't even know H's cousin's W was pg. OOPS! They're kids are 9 years apart! I couldn't handle that, that would be like starting ALL over again! I would pull my hair out!
MIL keeps joking with us about having another one! OH, NO! I shut that factory down, it's in the hands of the good Lord now! If he wants me to have another so be it, but we're not help the situation!
What's HL say "Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes ....What? I forgot how he says that! LMAO
Help me out HL, what do you say? Anyway, we're practicing! LMAO
LA- There was a lady at the meeting tonight and she was speaking of her and her H's defects. I had to ask her after the meeting if she would consider that God does make defective people!
Just a thought to let you know that you are so wonderful you are in my thoughts outside of this site. A wonderful angel created by God to help lost souls find their way to him...for this I thank you for being YOU!

Rin,
(((((((((((((KUDOS FOR RIN)))))))))))))))
You went, you saw, you conquered your fear!!!
Woohooo!
Poor, Rin...hears me in her head...ACK! I hope I'm supportive, nice and not a nag. I really do.

You were brave and true to yourself...that's how you get to where you know you ARE brave and true...and live from it. I'm so proud of you, inspired by you...thank you.
Oh, and they do call them flaws in Al-Anon & AA...shortcomings...asking God to take them away...so I deviate, don't I? As long as I'm not deviant, I'm okay with that. You will choose for yourself. I asked God to show me my stuff, all of me, without fear...like the Villagers...and to continue to show me what I have, not to act on, but to know...

LMAO..of course, goose...you're always supportive in my head...
MOF, this morning F and I were running late and H said "Well, it's my fault, I didn't wake you guys up on time."
My reply was "No, that's our responsiblity, not your's!"
I thought to myself, LA would be so proud!
Another little story about this morning, I asked H to make me coffee, well, I didn't hear him say "Sure, I'll make you coffee, if you give me________(SF)." b/c I walked off.
H walked into the living room and said I guess you didn't chose to hear me...I said No, I didn't hear you! So, he repeated well, I didn't comment, but he was joking. I continued to get ready, wel, on my way to work it hit me!
So I was going to TM him but then I saw that HN's daughter broke her leg and was on crunches, so I called him. I said oh, BTW, Thank you for the coffee this morning and I'll give you your _____(SF) but not because you made me coffee! I'll do it because you are who you are!" (I was so proud, it just came out, without thinking about it! Now, that's impressing myself!)
He said that he would look forward to it! I could hear the joy in his voice! (HL, keep you're comments to yourself! LMAO) So, yes, I will follow through!
I'm seeing the changes, and I'm liking me more and more!
Thank you LA for not being a nag, for sharing you, and being my mentor (my choice) or should I call you my sponsor! LOL

Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. LOL.
Yep. That's it alright.
Practicing doing something wrong makes it worse. LOL.
That's why the baseball team my kid is on stinks.
I actually took over the practice from the manager and the coach this week for that reason. The kids loved it.
I am glad you are finding your center.
I am going to tell you one more thing I have learned and that old habits are hard to break.
It takes 21 days to instill a new habit and 21 days to break an old habit. Always being aware of the habit you are trying to break. That is why focusing on one thing is the best way to do it.
That is why admitting you have a problem is always the first step.
Good for you on the changes. The greates love someone can have is self love. If you love yourself it is much easier for others to love you.

OK I caught it now. Sometimes I am a little slow on the uptake but then again I have told you sometimes it is hard to keep up. LOL.
I am doing good. Things are good. Yesterday I started emailing my FWW quotes on love.
She sent me one back this morning.
I appreciate the effort on her part. Little mixed though. I don't want her to duplicate what I do I want her to do things for me that she thinks of. Does that make sense?
If I am wrong someone please tell me. LOL. 2x4.
Here were my quotes. Yesterdays- "Love, like a river, will cut a new path whenever it meets an obstacle."
Todays- "True love never lives happily ever after - true love has no ending."
Just wanted to do something special.
When she asked yesterday why I was being so nice my response was: "I can sense how you feel today. I needed to be the light and not the darkness."
And again I appreciate her sending me one back I just want/need for her to do something unique I guess.
I don't know maybe I am crazy.

Sounds like a case of "I want what I want when I want and how I want it."
Remember this is not in her nature! This may be something she is not comfortable with right now! I've been in your position. I understand the wanting something unique, but I think that will come with time. Let her get comfortable first.
No 2X4's, no bashing...just a reminder to slow down! you appreciated the effort...hold that tight for the time being...
Slow! HL, not everyone's quick like you...and I think you should do an O&H statement about it but PLEASE think hard how you word it...of course, this may not be a choice for you...you may want to leave it at that...

Darn good point.
Thank you.
That effort in effort out sounds familiar. Must have heard it from a very intelligent person. LOL.
Yep. It is good. It is actually great. She is reciprocating.
I see it. I needed to squint my eyes a little and turn my head side ways but I see it.

Well thanks.
BTW my wiring is crossed. Always has been. Not to worry though it makes me who I am.
Usually very optimistic and dare I say funny.
Don't pat yourself on the back too much your arm will get sore.
And the roll you are on I hope it is an Onion Roll those are the best. IMVHO.
Seems like you are liking who you are.

I wouldn't have YOU any other way! I can agree to the funny, not knocking the optimistic part either. And the roll you are on I hope it is an Onion Roll those are the best. IMVHO. What's an onion roll? Yes, I'm serious! Liking myself...yeah, more and more everyday... I've got to work on this weight I put on after the infidelity diet I put on! LMAO I still have not been able to cut out the eating in the middle on the night! I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND that! It's like I've lost my self-control. I really feel annoyed about the waking up and eating in the night! If I can figure that one out and what I've put on...I'll be fine!

You have never had an onion roll?
OMG. YOU ARE KIDDING ME.
Go to the store and get one now. For your snack at night.
So stop eating at night. LOL it is as easy as that.
Drink lots of water during the day.

Where do I find that? Is it a bread? Is it like garlic bread?
I wish it was that easy...it's like sleep eating! I have been able to not do it one or two nights. Also I've tried drinking water instead of eating...
I AM trying to be more aware of what I'm doing at night...I really able...MOF, I have cut back on my eating during the day...and I AM drinking more water now.

In there may lie the problem
Never cut back eating during the day. Eat a lot during the day. Small healthy meals.
Your body needs food and energy you have to plan out when to give it to it.
See blindsided knows about onion rolls.

OTAY! You both are one up on me! BS, I look forward to the email!
I'm trying to work myself back to six small meals a day. I stopped eating BF, no mid-morning snack, lunch (healthy size portion, that's what I'm cutting back on), no afternoon snack, and (healthy size portion, that's what I'm cutting back on). I'm trying to cut back on those large portion so that I am hungry more often.
I know my mistakes...it's just getting back into the routine of it all.
Oh, boss said we could leave...me and my asst. are out of here! I be back later!
