WOW!!!!!
this news absolutely requires a brand new post.
DH and I just had this huge heart to heart conversation on the phone. ok, i spilled my heart out and the point is he did not discount what i said. i feel like i saw his heart peeking thru a crack in the door that it just opened up.
there is no way i can do justice to the conversation. but the bottom line is, i think I was able to somehow finally really expain to him what is upsetting to me, what is lacking in our relationship. i don't believe he felt attacked, i do believe he still very much knows deep down how much i look up and respect him for how he has dealt with everything. and maybe, just maybe he saw a glimpse of how the changes he was willing to make (before I confessed) were so incredible enough for me that it prompted me to actually confess.
but the most important thing is... HE very early in the conversation, in fact that is what led to the more in depth converstaion, told me he is willing to go to consoling. he is hoping once a month would be helpful.
i couldn't feel more relieved!!!!

"Stop these DJs of yours: "...he did not discount what I said." come one, it was a positive stmt!!! but i totally understand what you are telling me. you are pointing out how i clearly must be disrespectully judging him other times when i conclude that he has discounted what i said. (except sometimes, i'm not making a judgement, he flat out does say to me that what i am saying is wrong! of course now he quickly adds, before i have a chance to say anything "of course you are free to have your opinion!!" which goes to prove that he really is trying to learn too.) anyway i'm in too good of a mood to quibble with you. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> i agree with #1 too. question is who to go to. i really want a GOOD consoler this time!! this is too importatnt!! i mentioned how phone consoling with MB is available. we have not made any decision but i will get it set up asap. i was also looking at the at home courses. anyone have any comments on those?

lol, FL... I know it is a positive statement. But I worry you do it more often than you realize.
I am happy for both of you he is trying to learn, too. He sounds sort of like I used to be. I sometimes think your H and I are more alike than not. I wasn’t very bad, actually, in the DJ department, but FWW has a perception amplifier, left over from FOO, on high gain all the time. I have to be extra careful, now that I know.
