I think it would be really nice to have a subtopic under Infidelity called Success Stories. People do post these stories now, but it's hard to find them amongst all the problems if you're just looking for some encouragement. And judging from all the views vs. answers to the questions posed, I'll bet that lots of people are looking for encouragement. I just posed the suggestion to the webmaster, but would like some backup if you agree this topic is needed.

I didn't see a choice for don't want it.

Put me in that category. While I'm glad some have success, it hurts to know that I didn't, so it's a mixed bag of emotions.

So I would rather NOT have a sub-topic of success stories.

I think it should be a "sticky thread", where people post cross-links to the person's "main thread", or links to a summary thread.

(but the top level should also be edited regularly to eliminate discussions in the thread]

having it be a whole forum category for it, will blather on and on so much, it will be just as difficult to cleanly find the real "success stories".

I think a collection of success stories would be very uplifting, but I think we might need a few rules.

For example after a year I wa sposting great success before sufferig a very painful 2n'd year of recovery that almost claimed my marriage.

Most other folks too vascillate wildly on the rollercoaster for a number of year sbefore considering themselves a settled "success". So perhaps this needs to be a read only thread ? I see retrospective negative updates being very depressing to hopeful newbies.

Also folks who get divirces also consider themselves to be MB successes owing to the way it helped them cope with D.

Would these be uplifting or not ?

So a few issues that i can see.

A fine idea though.
