HI everyone I am hoping that I am in the right place and that there is someone out there that can help me. I recently found out that my husband of two and a half years just found out that he fathered two twin girls. I have not meet them or anything, actually we just got the dna test back today letting us know that they are his. The twins were conceived before we were married, but not too long before we got married, I guess they turned three this year, he says that the last time he was with her was about five months before we got married which was a time when we were apart for about two weeks. I am so confused. Should I be mad at him, but how can I it happened before we got married, and its not like he knew about them and did not tell me, he says that this is the fist thing he heard about it to. I do not know what to do or how to feel does anybody have any advice please.

Welcome to marriagebuilders. It is a GREAT place to be. The experts are all on the Pregancy/Child forum, but weekends are slow.

Your dates seem a little off, if the girls just turned 3, allowing for 9 months of pregnancy, they must have been conceived almost 4 years ago.

I suppose he will owe back child support, and child support for the next 15 years. Were you planning to have children?

Hi SS

Sorry you have to be here, but you are in a good place to travel this journey.

First let me assure you, you can make through this. There are others on the pregnancy/child forum that have been in your situation and worse-and they have made it. Head over there and know that you are in a place where others understand and care

I think it is normal to be confused and hurt. Don't beat yourself up for your feelings. They are real. Just remember, you don't have to act on them but you will feel them. And they can be awful.

MB is a good place to express those emotions and vent. You will find lots of support here.

I think being hurt is normal. You found out that your then fiance betrayed you-even if you were apart during that time. The fact that he fathered children by this "fling" or whatever it was just adds to the reality of it. True,he didn't know about the twins, but he did know about the relationship.

Again, head to the Pregnancy forum. I think you will find what you need there for now.

Hang in there.

We already have a son, who turned 4 in sept. I got my tubes tied after we had him because we both decided that we did not want to have anymore children. He has two other boys from his first marriage and I have a daughter from a previous relationship, so we decided that our children were enough for us, now I have to deal with the fact that another woman gave my husband his only female child. Thanks for replying every word of advice helps so much, I am too embarrassed to talk to family or friends about it.
