Yeah
I read this one Mimi
... *gulp* ...
this is the book I read aloud to my Mom while she was getting hospice care ... it's the very last book we read together ... she died before we got to the last chapter
my sister & I read the final chapter together a few days after Mom died
*tears* ... actually happy-sad tears
KWIM?
Pep

wonderful book. I have his new book but have not read it yet. I got my dad to read this book before Alzheimers really set in. I think it was the last book he read and one of the few I remember him reading cover to cover in his life. I hope he found his carnival.. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Another good book is Marley & Me....especially for the pet lovers out there.

Yeah...I read it the Christmas after my dad died.... Bawled all the way through it.
Pep, I don't know HOW you managed to read that to your mom...under any circumstances it would be difficult; it's just a moving book. But while she was in hospice? Wow. You are a strong and brave woman.
