I realize that Valentines Day can be a REALLY HARD day to get through when you are having marital difficulties or there has been infidelity or you are separated or divorcing...
Soooo...to help lift your spirits, I thought it might be good to list FIVE GOOD THINGS about being alone on Valentines Day. I will start.
You can wear your fat pants all day long. You get to eat all five pounds of chocolates by yourself. You don't look good in [color:"red"] red [/color] anyway, so you can wear black. You can watch a chick flick--if you're a guy, no one need know...and if you're a gal, you can BAWL YOUR EYES OUT and not worry about your mascara. AND You can jump in bed with that good book you've been dying to get to.
NEXT!!!!

You can work late without fear. You can eat both lobsters by yourself. (with garlic butter) You don't have to brush your teeth. You don't have to worry if your gift is going to be good enough. You can plan for next year.

You can spend all of your Valentine's Day budget on YOURSELF. You can pick your favorite dinner. You can play your favorite music and light candles. No disappointments in not receiving something, afterall you bought it YOURSELF. You don't have to share the fine boxed wine.

So many advantages..........
I bought myself a $30.00 (YIKES!!) orchid. I know it is expensive, but I LOVE orchids. It is a beautiful dark red. Unlike cut flowers, it will bloom for a couple of months, and then bloom again next year.
Next, ordering Chinese food, the whole array. Yummy.

Technically, I suppose I am alone. AJ has made it as far as AZ, and will soon be in NV.
I did not shave my legs. I did shave my armpits.
You just inspired me to make stir-fry for supper.
I will try not to eat more than a pound of chocolate by myself.

You can save your money by not buying things your SO will just look at and stash in some corner and not look at again until garage sale time.
A valentines dinner of what ever the he** you want is what you actually have.
