OK, I have been mulling this post for some time and today it's like I got confirmation that it really needed to be done.

God spoke to me so clearly through several songs on the radio both going to work and coming back home today. I normally turn the radio down and pray while I am driving, but today it's like God said "Just listen while I talk to you this time." After all, prayer is a two-way conversation we just tend to make it one-way.

Also, another poster here (Rinder) got a lot of inspiration from a few songs I shared with her after she ahd such a bad day. I figure others could benefit as well.

With that, I give you my music therapy thread - songs that have comforted me, encouraged me, and touched me in some way in these terrible days. Another way of giving back to those who have given so much to me.

The music style is mostly Christian Rock or Pop of which I am a junkie. If you go find the music to download be prepared for either heavy stuff or power ballads.

praise you in this storm was my first "theme" song after i found out about the affair. i made it my myspace profile song.
now i have discovered "Don't give up" by sanctus real. i remember getting in the car one day, having a bad day and the first words on my radio were: "don't give up on love and throw it all away"
i think the song is about a divorce, but could be about adultery.
