S4B,

The pineapple cake was Orchid's idea on the previous page....just want to give credit where credit was due. And I like the pinata idea....make it a huge pig so we can pretend it's the OW while we're bashin' the stuffin #@&* out of her!!!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Ace

P.S. I pick Pep for the sack race cuz I like a challenge...right Pep?

I'll bring the roaster & hickory chips. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

What's our preference? Beef / Pork / Lamb? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Who's up for the Buns / Plates? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Back to my original post that in addition to loving/hating this place, I think I'm addicted to it. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

How's it going to look on my work eval when it says I was fired for non-appearance because I was posting what I would bring to a pretend picnic and that's why I'm perpetually pre-occupied whenever I do try to perform my work projects?

I'm outtie......anyone else addicted? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

So SW, what are your symptoms suggesting you might be addicted to MB posting or lurking? Loving it or hating it?

It's difficult for me as I cannot post during the day even though I can lurk occasionally. But my co-workers do not know what I am going through (ain't selective RH a drag) so I have to put up a good front, even when I'm falling apart.....try 4 D Days and you'll see why recovery is so hard to conceptualize at times. Thank God for My Mr. Romance, always being there when I am triggering or just having a 'why me?' pity party.

I want to think my 'addiction' is due to the tremendous help in healing I've received from posting and studying.....it seems like I gravitate to it for strength.

Does anyone else ever feel this way or is it just me....being strange, weird, late, backwards and often wrong?

Ace <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

PS Did I miss the pinata at the picnic? Dang, I wanted to punch the OW pig in the petunias! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Ace,
I am a poster by nature.... when i was first married, i was actually pregnant.. and lost the baby..i had found a great support group there... it helped me through so much that nobody in my circle really understood, except for my mom, but she is no longer here.... she passed away 9 years ago... so, i was kind of left on my own to figure things out... physically and spiritually...
when i started having marriage troubles i started lurking here... then i decided to open up about what was going on and posted... and the same as the pregnancy website i would visit, i felt comfortable sharing my story.. and reading others and healing... MUCH more quickly... helping me KNOW that the decision i made was the RIGHT one for me and my children... it was UNHEALTHY to live like that.. my kids are happy again.. they don't have to see me cry...

M2L,
I believe that it is a program like a Marriage Encounter Weekend. It is put on by the Catholic church but it is availiable to anyone. Hope that helps.

M2L,

I for one appreciate what a fine thread you've created here....and thanks for the picnic, Rock.

I saw a thread on Retrouville way back in January when I registered where a poster described how it helped their M. Have you done a search? I've seen it spelled various ways so keep trying. Or there's always Google.

Was my addiction question a TJ? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> If so, sorry, ... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />... but if it helps justify the question..... SW and I love it here so much we're addicted <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

(And we want to go to the picnic <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />...are we still invited?)

missed this part on my last post - sorry.

sure a picnic sounds good. You don't want to have it by me though - way too cold still in Wis.

I'm moving one day - winters suck more and more each year.
