I believe I read somewhere that you live in Hawaii.

I lived there many years ago, on the Leeward side of Oahu.

My DD informed me that she wants to go to college there, I think HPU.

I have always had a fondness for Hawaii and was thinking of moving there if she gets accepted.

I rented when I lived there, as houses were very $$$.

What is the outlook of housing now? Are they affordable, or would I be looking at a rent again?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Orchid: HPU is a good school. Rent is atrocious. Jobs pay minimal but they are in abundance. Many work multiple jobs.

Let's just say that between work, taking care of the house, my family, relatives, etc. I have very little time for the beach. LOL!!!
