hi all!
i've been missing you guys.
beautiful baby daughter was born wednesday at 652am, after 12 hours of induced labor and about 20 minutes of pushing (H and i watched tv all night, then my water broke, and out she came. easy)
H and my mom seem to be polite to each other-she is around all day cooking, and sleeps down the street at my brothers-very handy, and the 2yo loves it.
H is at work today. I got pretty mad at him for it, and told him i sent 2yo away with my mom, and i did not ask where they were going, but they are going to my brothers, which my H is adamantly opposed to (he has hated my brother since my brother caught him bringing OW to my house when i was gone for the weekend...). I told H that if he can't be around when we need him most, then don't be around at all. I can't do things under his little 'rules' about who 2yo sees or not, when he is not home to help.
I wad also peeved that I had a dream about OW last night, that he is still seeing her and denying it. ugh. i only get a couple hours a night now! i don't need that!
anyway, just wanted y'all to hear the good news. once i get some kind of schedule going, i'll be back around.

------------------
for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do us part.

Congratulations! Don't make any major decisions or issue ultimatums right now. Your hormones are going haywire. Just focus on getting through this period. I'm so glad you have your Mom to help and that you have family around.

Great News! Congratulations!
I don't know, but did your H feel that with your Mom around he was not able to be of use. Usefulness is a need that most men feel fulfilled at work. Just a thought.
Hope things go well with you.
------------------
7Habits (Dane)
"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them." C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! !

quote:
"A baby is God's opinion that the world must go on." - Carl Sanburg (I think)

We would dearly love to have had another child to love and raise, but it wasn't meant to be. Instead, God blessed us with four beautiful and healthy grandchildren!
Your H needs to grow up. Your mother is your MOTHER, for Pete's sake! Your mother shouldn't interfere in your marriage or be rude and ugly to your husband, but he should respect your love for your mom. However, if Mom is being disrespectful (even if she has a right to be), you should set her straight. My mother is crazy about my H now, but she wasn't always. She once made a disparaging remark about his not working to meto the effect that he was being "lazy and living off me" (not true--H has never been lazy when it comes to work) right after he quit his job and started his business (when he wasn't getting much work yet), and I told her that whatever went on in our marriage was none of her business.
I don't know if any of this applies to your situation or not, but I thought I'd throw it in if your mom isn't helping your marital situation any.
Enjoy this time with your new little one..they grow up so fast!!
