Today, Thank God, I had a good lawyer consult. I think I found one who will advocate for me, and that's the most relief I've felt in 2+ weeks. It will hurt financially, but I think is the route to go. I won't have to deal with H directly.
Faithful is right, the SB board (do we have to keep it a secret?) is really active for those wanting more support. I've been on this board since 1999 and gotten a lot of use out of it in the past, but lot of mean trolls too. It's pretty quiet nowadays.

I'm glad you are managing. I know that there isn't much you can do financially but hopefully your attorney will protect you and your kids as much as possible.

I'll check it out. I found this site in Feb. Just reading here brought up a lot of undealt with emotions. I couldn't believe how many people's lives were affected by this horror. I've spent more time over on the recovery board since this one is so inactive (thank goodness for the archives!) I have found it helpful in helping myself to heal, but there is a missing part in not being able to talk to others dealing with the long term of the OC.
